Danny Yeo 杨君伟

Danny Yeo has more than 20 years of rich experience in Hosting, Radio, TV, Theatre, Writing as well as Lecturing. He also enjoys directing plays, reviewing for magazines and creating music in his spare time.

A published writer who considers Culture, Youth and Psychology his favourite topics, Danny has 5 books to his name and is also a Goodwill Ambassador of World Vision Singapore.

At the 2010 Life! Theatre Awards, Danny was nominated for The Straits Times Life! Theatre “Best Director” Award for his directorial debut “Bondage”. He went on the win a National Arts Council grant to attend the prestigious La MaMa’s International Symposium for Directors in Italy in 2012.

He currently sits on the Straits Times Panel Advisory Committee, the REACH Supervisory Panel, the MOE’s Committee for Promoting Chinese Language Learning’s Cultural Group as well as MDA’s Film Assessors Panel.

With such a wealth of experience, it is no surprise that Danny is a much sought after bi-lingual Emcee – able to breach between Grassroot events as well as Corporate ones.
